Subject: Adoption of State Police Commission Rule 7.5(a)7
Pursuant to the provisions of State Police Commission Rule 2.10(a), the State Police Commission will hold a public hearing on May 15, 2003, to consider adoption of State Police Commission Rule 7.5(a)7. The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room, Eleventh Floor, Wooddale Towers Building, 1885 Wooddale Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Examinations and Eligible Lists
7.5 Rejection of Application.
(a) Under any of the below circumstances, the Director shall reject the application of any person for admission to examination, refuse to examine any applicant or refuse to reinstate a prior grade or pass status:. . .
7. Who is a veteran of the Uniformed Services, as defined by LSA-R.S. 29:403(13) and whose discharge from such service is other than honorable.

Please review this proposal and furnish, in writing, by May 5, 2003 any comments which you consider pertinent. If you would like to appear before the Commission and present your comments orally, you are invited to do so. You must notify this office by May 5, 2003 of your intention to address the Commission, in order to be placed on the agenda.
